The chronicle makes a review of the excellent events happened during year 2006 in the Independent Community of Cataluña. The approval and take effect of the new Statute of Autonomy, the anticipated dissolution of the Catalán Parliament and the celebration of autonomic elections the 1 of November of 2006, that have caused the investiture of José Montilla like new President of the Generalitat, constitute the outstanding facts of this period.
