La Rioja (2006)

Durante el año 2006, la estabilidad política ha sido la nota más característica en el seno de la CAR. En el plano institucional, el hito más sobresaliente ha sido la aprobación de la Ley 6/2006, de 2 de mayo del Defensor del Pueblo Riojano y la posterior designación unánime para tal responsabilidad de María Bueyo Díez Jalón. Por lo que se refiere a la actividad normativa autonómica destaca la aprobación de la Ley 1/2006, de 28 de febrero, de Protección de Menores y de la Ley 5/2006, de 2 de mayo, de Ordenación del Territorio y Urbanismo de La Rioja. Por último, en el ámbito de las relaciones entre CA y Estado central, cabe reseñar el clima de fricción vivido por los ejecutivos estatal y autonómico, y la presentación, por parte de éste último, de un recurso de inconstitucionalidad frente al Estatuto de Autonomía catalán.

During year 2006, the political stability has been the typical note in the CAR. In the institutional level, the most important point has been the approval of Law 6/2006, of 2 of May about the Parliamentary Commissioner for the Administration in La Rioja and the later unanimous designation for such responsibility to María Bueyo Díez Jalón. As for the autonomic normative activity, it emphasizes the approval of Law 1/2006, of 28 of February, of Protection of Minors and Law 5/2006, of 2 of May, of Arrangement of the Territory and Urbanism of La Rioja. Finally, in the scope of the relations between Self-government regions and central State, it is possible to review the climate of friction lived by state and autonomic executives, and the presentation, on the part of this one, an application for judicial review of the Catalán Statute of Autonomy.
