Italia.
The liberal-democratic state protects freedom of information so as to grant the pluralism of freedom of expression, including in the latter the protection of the creative moment, i.e. that in which the opinion is formed. On the contrary, other sciences show that propaganda can coerce one’s opinion. The article argues that an interdisciplinary approach, in the frame of analytical methodology, can open new perspectives on the study of how propaganda can affect individual conscience, as a consequence political freedoms and, in the end, the legitimacy of democracy.
