Las Leyes de Jurisdicción Voluntaria y de Cooperación Jurídica Internacional han venido a concentrar en un texto legislativo moderno los cinco requisitos que tienen que cumplir las escrituras extranjeras para ser aceptadas (y eventualmente inscritas) en España. Su importancia deriva más que por la novedad de las soluciones, por haber aclarado y simplificado estos requisitos que se encontraban dispersos en normas de muy diferente origen nacional e internacional.
The Voluntary Jurisdiction Act and the International Legal Cooperation Act have brought together, on a single piece of modern legislation, the five requirements foreign deeds have to fulfil to be accepted (and eventually entered in a register) in Spain. Its importance does not lie in the novelty of the proposed solutions, but in the transparency and simplification of these requirements, scattered through a wide range of national and international legal texts of different origins.
