¿Reformar la Constitución?
Se resalta el especial significado de la Constitución, fruto del consenso, esforzadamente alcanzado, destacado inicio de una etapa de convivencia. Se han achacado a la Constitución consecuencias que nada tienen que ver con ella, que, por cierto, ha funcionado muy bien durante casi 40 años. Si se estimara que es conveniente introducir algunas reformas, habrá que tener sumo cuidado, concertando a las diversas fuerzas políticas, en la intención, además, de profundizar en la línea del Estado social y democrático de Derecho. Se exponen algunas posibles líneas de reforma.
The special significance of the constitution, the result of consensus strenuously reached highlights the beginning of a stage of coexistence. The constitution (which incidentally has worked well for 40 years) has been blamed for consequences that have nothing to do with it. If it is deemed appropriate to introduce constitutional reforms they would have to be introduced very carefully taking into account the various political forces. They must also further the cause of a social and democratic state respecting the rule of law. Some possible lines of reform are discussed.
