Mortgage regulation, despite the reforms undertaken, creates dysfunctions and serious imbalances in the market. Spain risks being taken to the courts by the European Commission, if it does not “fully” comply with the rules on mortgages within two months. This article focuses on those changes that would determine the passage from yesterday to today, and the change in paradigms.
