El Registro Civil y el notario: una relación en beneficio de las personas

El acceso telemático por el notario al contenido del Registro Civil es uno de los principios fundamentales de la Ley del Registro Civil en favor de los ciudadanos, principales beneficiados por dicho acceso. El futuro Reglamento del Registro Civil debe resolver ciertas cuestiones relacionadas con dicho acceso y, adicionalmente, otras derivadas de la relación entre notario y Registro Civil. El Registro Civil debe ofrecer información sobre una persona, no solo considerada en su individualidad, sino también como miembro de un grupo familiar y afectivo.

Telematic access for notaries to the contents of the Civil Registry is one of the fundamental principles of the Civil Registry Law in favour of citizens, who are the main beneficiaries of that access. The future Civil Registry Regulations must resolve some questions related to this access, as well as others arising from the relationship between the notary and the Civil Registry. The Civil Registry must provide information about a person, not only considered as an individual, but also as a member of a family and an affinity group.
