Congreso anual: la lámpara maravillosa de los notarios franceses

Pese a los problemas no resueltos por la reforma Macron, derivados del excesivo número de notarios, el notariado francés mantiene su arraigo en la sociedad y su capacidad de impulsar reformas legales por el interés general de los ciudadanos. La herramienta, desde hace 125 años, es el Congreso anual, en el que participan alrededor de 4000 personas, notarios en activo la mayoría. Por esta vía el consejo legal del notario trasciende el caso individual para servir al perfeccionamiento de las leyes. De él han salido desde 1953 más de 80 reformas legales. El próximo tendrá lugar en Bruselas, en junio de 2019, por vez primera fuera del territorio francés.

Despite the problems related to their excessive numbers that have not been resolved by the Macron reform, French notaries remain firmly rooted in society, and retain their ability to foster legal reforms in the general public interest. For the last 125 years, the instrument they have used has been their annual Congress, which is attended by around 4,000 people, most of whom are serving notaries. The legal advice of notaries thereby transcends individual cases and works to improve the laws. More than 80 legal reforms have resulted from the Congress since 1953. The next Congress will be held outside France for the first time, in Brussels in June 2019.
