El estatuto del notario

El notariado no es ajeno a la sociedad que le toca vivir. Los problemas de las personas obligan a adoptar nuevas sensibilidades que den respuestas a las nuevas necesidades que la crisis económica, las nuevas tecnologías y el resto de operadores jurídicos necesitan. Un notariado eficiente no puede ser ajeno a esa realidad. Han sido muchos los cambios, no solo legislativos, que se han planteado en los primeros veinte años del siglo XXI. Ha llegado el momento de que los notarios debatan sobre lo que debería ser el futuro de la profesión, de su organización corporativa y del propio estatuto del notario.

Notaries are part of the society in which they have to live. People's problems mean that it is necessary to adopt new sensitivities that provide answers to the new needs arising from the economic crisis, new technologies and other legal practitioners. An efficient notary cannot ignore this situation. Many changes, both legislative and otherwise, have taken place in the first twenty years of the twenty-first century. The time has come for notaries to discuss the future of the profession, its corporate organisation and the statute of the notary.
