Church and State: rights and duties in an emergent Constitution
In this paper I intend to consider the peculiar and particular nature of the United Kingdom constitution, and to explore its attitude towards religion. I then propose to tell a short story about a church in Warwickshire. This became the subject matter of a recent case in the United Kingdom’s highest appeal court, the judgment in which is of wider application.
