El presente estudio tiene por objeto el análisis de C. J.
12. 35. 18, constitución con la que Anastasio pretende dar solución a la difícil situación jurisdiccional en la que, desde finales del siglo V, se encuentran los limitanei y los comitatenses y palatini al ser estos últimos reagrupados en ejércitos de maniobra más o menos compactos y estacionados en las provincias fronterizas de manera permanente. Ello obligará a los militares a tener que comparecer ante la jurisdicción militar de autoridades lejanas, con grave detrimento para su actividad militar. A corregir esta situación se dirige la constitución de Anastasio de 1 de enero del 492.
The purpose of the present investigation is to analyse the constitution C. J.
12. 35. 18. Anastasio tries to solve the difficult jurisdictional situation, in which the limitanei and the comitatenses and palatini are since the end of the fifth century. These latter are regrouped in manoeuvres army more or less close and located in the boarder provinces permanently. This will force the military to appear before the military jurisdiction of distant authorities to the detriment of their military activities. The constitution of Anastasio of 1 January 492 is dedicated to correct this situation.
