Blockchain y bitcoin son dos tecnologías interesantísimas que han tenido un profundo impacto en el sector económico y tecnológico. Otros sectores como el jurídico también se están planteando cómo utilizarlas para mejorar la eficiencia de sus servicios. De modo paralelo, muchas empresas han visto en blockchain un filón para sustituir o mejorar esos mismos servicios. Una de las consecuencias es que la profesión notarial no ha quedado ajena de esta situación, y ya existen foros en que se plantea si se debe o no aprovechar la tecnología blockchain para mejorar alguno de nuestros servicios. Pero también han surgido empresas que, marketing y redes sociales mediante, han querido vender que blockchain podía ser el final del notariado. Nada más lejos de la realidad. Blockchain es una buena herramienta, pero no es un notario, ni podrá serlo. A pesar de eso, habrá que estar alerta sobre su evolución en el sector legal.

Other sectors such as the legal sector are also considering how to use them to improve the efficiency of their services. Alongside this, many companies have seen in blockchain a manner in which to replace or improve the same services.
