el presente artículo tratamos de analizar como en el Bajo imperio aumentó el gasto público de manera exorbitada y las medidas fiscales necesarias para poder acometer las necesidades de la población, como fue la Collatio y sus consecuencias, principalmente, en los coletivos más vulnerables, lo que no implico el que la Administración tuviera que aprobar ayudas destinadas a la asistencia de familas que carecían de recursos para poder criar a sus hijos, algo que ocurre en nuestro derecho contemporáneo.
In this article we try to analyse how in the Late Empire public spending increased exorbitantly and the fiscal measures necessary to meet the needs of the population, such as the Collatio and its consequences, mainly on the most vulnerable groups, which did not imply that the Administration had to approve aid aimed at assisting families who lacked the resources to raise their children, something that occurs in our contemporary law.
